same goes for famous Prague weather station Klementinum, now in concrete heat island obviously with higher average temperatures, they use to show long term trends

these comparisons are meaningless, you really need weather station in middle of nowhere (in nature away from people) for hundreds of years to get accurate readings for comparison

this is more up-to-date experience - overland from Portugal through Turkey, Iran, Pakistan to India and to China

https://www.thelongestwayhome.com/resources/overland/my-over...

I wanted to do central europe to India overland ~20 years ago, even got Iranian visa, but Pakistani embassy was doing me problems, so in the end just flew from Turkey to India

getting from Prague/Bratislava to Istanbul is like 1 transfer in Sofia (still works in 2026, there is Flixbus from Bratislava to Sofia for like 50EUR for 17 hours ride)

similar with trans-siberian railway, back in the days you hopped on train from Budapest to Moscow, switched for trans-siberian/manchuarian railway and you could be with 1 transfer from Budapest in Vladivostok/Beijing

most of the kids learn to walk around age 1, by the age 2 they should be already speaking

the ones most of your contacts use, what's the point finding perfect messenger if nobody you know use it and you must move people over there and anyway keep installed other app for most of the contacts?

here you have chart comparison

and alternative

https://www.securemessagingapps.com

personally I like Element (Matrix) and Threema

edit: btw. signal best UX? do they finally show users how to force send unencrypted SMS or you still have figure it out with google? I remember their great UX when they were forcing PIN verification with nag screens taking half or whole screen, which was the last drop I moved with whole family away from that PoS, let alone how unreliable it was, whole network down because admin in US sleeping waiting hours until he fix it, their approach (aka hatred) to users reminds me Firefox devs, left Signal even before it became popular

that seems better, not worse, that they don't implement this on OS level, so no gapps users are not affected at all

as usual double to triple the Chinese price for EVs

where are the battery materials from?

Australia via China for a decent amount of it.

Marocco maybe?

Amazfit Bip has you covered, you can disable notifications, you can buy used one for <20USD and they still last one month + they are perfectly readable in sunlight thanks to MIP display, I'm on my 3rd now

there is nothing better since Amazfit Bip, Casio came close, but they are too bulky

The route utilises a route close to the official London Marathon course but in reverse, passing landmarks such as:

● Buckingham Palace / The Mall

● Houses of Parliament

● Tower Bridge

● Canary Wharf

● Cutty Sark

● Greenwich

TLDR they don't do reverse (backward) running as I thought

yup, that's when I moved to TMDB boards, though it's pretty dead there

https://www.themoviedb.org

moviechat is OK for old movies with old discussions

after discussing and rating movies on IMDB I completely stopped and using it not logged in only to check rating in Google results and ocassionally to check reviews, now that reviews are gone I guess I should stop checking their reviews and ditch this site completely

> moviechat is OK for old movies with old discussions

MC still has active discussions on new releases e.g. https://moviechat.org/tt1341338/Good-Luck-Have-Fun-Dont-Die.

They even have a forum for computer games: https://moviechat.org/bd0000053/Video-Games

It's a pity that MC and TMDB boards didn't become the equivalent of 'HN for visual media' and Reddit for the wider 'audience'. Today, Reddit is possibly the most popular site to read non-mainstream reviews.
