Yep, they are using it right now to draw attention away from Jeff's naked drama.

What part is Jeff trying to draw attention away from? If anything he's been incredibly open and forthright about the entire "drama", which seems to be the exact opposite of what the blackmailing parties want.

RIP

The EU laying down the law!

Yeah, what are you taking about?

Go to a broker and say "I'll use you if you split half of your commission with me." Or seek out a company/brokerage in your area that explicitly offers "commission rebates."

I think VR can be used for this also. Emotional and social intelligence training is the best use of this tech.

Yep, it is a fat client with lousy performance. They tried to build Sketch + Principle in the same tool. Both those tools are super complicated software products. They should have created separate tools which complement each other.

Worse, they tried to accomplish this not with a Cocoa app (as Sketch and I believe Principle are), but in a heavy Electron app.

[edit] Sorry, I typed "Figma" for some reason when I meant to type "Principle."

Figma is definitely not a native app. It's a WebGL app that has been heavily optimized for performance, but it relies on a browser or browser-technology to do its job.

YouTube's comments engine is garbage.

lol China will steal this company's tech in 3...2...1...

I think this depends on personalities. I worked in an open office where there were people going crazy because there were a bunch of loud extroverts. I am extroverted and cubicles make me develop bad habits like watching YouTube all day, and such. I need constant interaction with people. Ideating with other designers gives me life, and expands my creativity.

So does the US with it's media machine.

Nobody is saying it doesn't, but the two things are entirely independent from each other. It's not a competition between countries, it's a question of how people of earth can get the best lives for themselves.
