For those tasks I just use sshfs. I keep a ~/n/${host} directory where I access remote files like they were on my machine.

Source? I could understand (!) `reboot` (with backticks) evaluated by mistake inside a shell script; but still reboot needs high privileges.

Yeah, it ran everything you typed as root.

So open up a chat app, type return, reboot, return. Tada.

I can't find some original sources, but there is a summary I found on Slashdot. https://mobile.slashdot.org/story/08/11/08/1720246/bug-in-an...

After Brexit are they going to move the island like in Lost?

That would be a great idea actually. I love London but not so much its weather so I'm thinking we should have it moved in the Mediterranean Sea

Hilarious!

It isn't "some google group", it's the golang-dev mailing list.

I think a better comparision would be a manuscript about calculus. If it was produced before Newton/Leibniz it's remarkable, otherwise well... who cares?

Pike's code should be studied in schools.

To be honest, I think that DNS-over-HTTPS is pretty awkward. (I use DNS-over-TLS, by the way).

Also, we still have the problem with the unencrypted SNI after the name is resolved.

You can enable ESNI from about:config in Firefox.

The setting name is: network.security.esni.enabled

That's a great news! Thank you.

By the way you can check your browser here https://www.cloudflare.com/ssl/encrypted-sni/ . My Firefox has all tests passed.

After a workday, I used to be repelled by using a computer. I started to use it again when I uninstalled Firefox. Now I just use elinks for basic stuff and I'm happy again to hack or just use a computer again, instead of a bloated web browser.

If I want to do "fancy" things, like book a flight, I just do that on the iPad.

I used to have access to the Amadeus API, and the experience to book flights `curling` it was very interesting :P

Booking flights via curl sounds like it’s a much better experience than navigating the endless choices, options & dark patterns on a typical airline website.

Don't check this checkbox if you want to miss out on not getting amazing promotional emails, great poems and the occasional bobcat.
